Today, I have part 2 of wedding nails! I was so excited to find some of the most gorgeous nail charms (or nail jewelry ;o) that I’ve ever seen on Etsy! It’s a shop called ‘Daily Charme’ and they feature not only stunning nail charms but their own nail polish line, other fun nail studs (which I also picked up) and full-sized nail water decals. You can visit their shop here; prices range from $1.99 for 2 re-useable nail charms to $55.00 for a full-sized set of 6 nail polishes.
Hello Readers – I just want to let you guys know I haven’t disappeared for good I’ve just been in a lot of pain lately. I found out a few weeks ago that I have 2 large cysts (one on each ovary) and that’s been the cause of much of my discomfort. I noticed that it had been getting worse every month and finally couldn’t take it anymore so I got a second opinion. In short, my previous OBGYN had said my cysts would burst and come back during each period. I found out I have the solid type of cysts and they do not burst. My surgery is on the 23rd, so hopefully a week from that date I’ll return. My nails are in utter shambles at the moment, they’re beyond nubs at this point! lol It’s alright though.
If anyone would like to do a guest post for me, I’d be more than excited! Just go to my ‘contact’ page and fill out the form. I’ll e-mail you back in a day or so. Thanks for sticking with me guys and gals!
Hello Readers! I’m very excited today to present one of my favorite nail bloggers, Marta from Chit Chat Nails. She presents her nails with the most interesting compositions; such as holding onto jewelry, rope, flowers, coffee cups, ‘selfie’ poses, etc. Her and her husband are photographers and it really shows! Marta not only has an eye for beautiful photography but she also comes up with the most interesting combinations of colors, glitter, stamping, rhinestones, studs, water transfer and nail stickers.
She calls variations of these designs “Skittlette” manicures and they are just stunning.
So, in case you guys haven’t guessed all of my posts this month will involve pink colored cosmetics to support Breast Cancer Awareness for the month of October. Make sure to give yourself breast exams regularly and if you feel anything that’s even remotely questionable get yourself to your doctor!
Last week, I ordered 2 Tokidoki eyeliners; I chose ‘Donutella’ which is a fairly bright medium pink and ‘Ciao Ciao’ which is a fairly bright medium blue. They normally retail for $16.00 but are currently on sale for $6.00 here on Sephora’s website! What interested me the most about this eyeliner is that it features a ‘chiseled’ tip that’s suppose to make it easier to apply while giving you the option to draw on a fine or thick line. I found them to offer brilliant colors and for someone who normally uses pencil eyeliner overall easy to apply.
Each Wednesday, the Metro Atlanta Beauty Bloggers will answer a beauty-related question just for fun! This week’s question is…
How did you choose your blog name?
I’ve always liked the word ‘luxe’ as sort of a cool/fashionable way of saying ‘luxury’ so I knew I wanted to incorporate this word in the title. Since I wanted to be a beauty blogger (not limited to just nail polish or just one category) so the word beauty just made sense to add and I plan on doing this FOREVER so there you have it! 😮
