Enchanted Polish ‘August 2013’ + Glitter Accent Nails
So, today’s a pretty big day for me since it’s my first day back at work after being off for nearly 2 1/2 weeks. My recovery is going well and I’d say I feel 75% better as of now. Not sure what I’m talking about? Read my previous post here. I’m pretty excited about this mani for a few reasons; 1) It features an Enchanted Polish, 2) It’s named after my birth month and I just happened to turn 30, 3) I’m hoping this will give me good luck for today!
Those of you who are well versed in the nail community know it can be difficult to obtain Enchanted Polish polishes (redundant, I know), honestly I’ve had the best luck through Chelsea’s (the lovely maker herself) website http://www.EnchantedPolish.com. As long as you have signed up for her newsletter you’ll have plenty of time to plan for a re-stock of various polishes. For the swatches below I used 2 coats of Enchanted Polish ‘August 2013’, plus on accent nails 1 coat of Essie ‘Set In Stones’, and 1 coat of Sephora by OPI ‘Traffic-Stopper Copper’. I love the look of the silver and rose gold tone glitters on this teal leaning blue.
I really love this color! Indoors the linear holographic effect is apparent but in the sun it’s blinding! Indoors it can appear more teal or greenish-blue than in my photos. And even though I used 2 coats you could have gotten away with 1 coat, the polish is highly pigmented and smooth like butter! I topped it off with 1 coat of Essie ‘Good To Go’ topcoat.
Where to find these polishes used? You can purchased Enchanted Polish directly via Enchanted Polish, Harlow & Co., Nail Polish Canada. The Essie polish can be purchased at ULTA online or in stores, Trans Design, and various beauty supply stores. You can only purchase the Sephora by OPI polish online at Sephora online or in Sephora stores.
Prices for polishes used? Enchanted Polish – $12.00 – $16.00 USD, Essie – $8.00 – $4.50, Sephora by OPI – Currently all $4.50 but this one has sold out but I did see a few available on eBay.
So what do you guys think? Have you tried Enchanted Polish before? I highly recommend them for their quality and unique shades! By the way all Sephora by OPI polishes are on sale for $4.50 or you can get 3 for $10.00!
