Pams & Kin ‘Demons’
I’m excited to share a polish by the Indie company ‘Pams & Kin’ today! They started out on Etsy and recently converted their online shop to http://pamsandkin.bigcartel.com. If you enjoy a variety of colors (that include creams, shimmers, metallics and glitters) then you’ll love the array of colors available on their website.
The featured color is called ‘Demons’ and I’d describe this shade as a deep medium toned warm gray with a pinkish-orange to golden shimmer. For the photos I used 2 coats plus 1 coat of CND Air Dry topcoat. This easily could have been a 1 coater but I wanted to increase the depth with a second coat. The formula was nice and thick yet easy to work with. The shimmer is subtle in the shade/indirect/natural lighting but really pops in the sun/direct/ artificial light. Some photos were taken outside while others were taken in my light box; I’ll note specifically under each photo.
And of course after I posted a preview photo on Instagram people wanted to see a comparison so…
I know Essie’s ‘Armed & Ready’ was a bit of a disappointment for some folks and I think Pam’s & Kin ‘Demons’ will satiate the look Essie was hoping to achieve. Pams & Kin ‘Demons’ can be purchased directly from their website here for $10.00 plus S&H. The direct link to the Pams & Kin website can be found here. Until next time…
